Monday blues.

and so it it happened...

that is why i hate 7 am classes. I tried sleeping at 1 am last night, unfortunate for me though I was too caught up with my personal dilemmas. Ruminating on certain matters for over 2 hours, i finally dozed off around 4 in the morning.
finally...
Then the alarm went off at 5. (What a nap). That moment where in you have to rise up from your bed was the worst part. I get to excogitate a way to get through a Monday and deal with whats in store for me. Somehow the thought of Ms. Causaren yelling startled me & involuntarily helped me prepare for a hellish day.

Surprisingly, Monday wasn't so bad, I had fun with my educ classmates. I wasn't aware of the fact that i was able to attend all of my subjects today & mind you, attending 3 laboratories for one day is not simple as it may seem, especially when you barely slept the night before.
So yeah, it was my first time to completely attend my Monday classes. I was really anxious about it for over a week already that i might not be able to handle the schedule.Thank God for everything. I'm a li'l optimistic about this semester na.

All i have to think about now is how to ask Kuya to raise naman my baon on a Monday :P

In Saudi, we could rape a lady. Its her fault anyway!

A recent headline of Telegraph UK, to make a long story short, a Saudi woman was sentenced to 200 lashes and 6 months prison for being a gang rape victim, the initial sentence was 90 lashes but was subsequently increased to 200 because the woman was found guilty of influencing the media - sympathy.

What a bunch of idiots, how could they do this? Isn’t it wrong morally and ethically to punish the victim?

According to the Arab News newspaper, the woman was gang-raped 14 times. Her
offence was in meeting a former boyfriend, whom she had asked to return pictures
he had of her because she was about to marry another man. The couple was sitting
in a car when a group of seven Sunni men kidnapped them and raped them both,
lawyers in the case told Arab News. The former boyfriend was also sentenced to
90 lashes for being with her in private. Even the victim's lawyer was
ordered to face disciplinary actions due to the fact that he spoke to the media
about the original sentence.

This is ridiculous, just imagine how absurd these people view the situation. The court blamed the lady for being alone with an unrelated man, but they should've seen it in a more humane view and considered the thought that it still wasn't her fault for being gang raped 14 times!

The Islamic Sharia law is not in tune with modern society, these religious laws does not comply with today’s major ethic modern society; we’re heading towards a global village, a multi cultural world. Coming from an Islamic country - Malaysia with a religious composition of 60% Muslims and 40% others, and an ethic composition of 50% Malays, 25% Chinese, 8% Indians and the rest, does not use the religious rules of the Sharia. Unlike Saudi Arabia, they consider the possibility that a muslim could be involved in a legal case say a divorce, marriage, or khalwat, with a non-muslim. If only the Saudi's perceive it the way the Malaysian government did, then these cases could've been avoided.

The Saudi Government has been criticized numerous times already by several countries for apparent reasons.

Religion is a personal thing. It should not be correlated with politics.

badminton, egg tarts and 3D boobies.

yo! what up!

man this past 2 days i wasn't able to lie down on my own bed. i was literally hugging the side of it last night, i kind of missed it. We all have our own bizarre moments, we just don't mention it often.

Anyway last Friday night was badminton night (whats new). . . . Not. We did something else and i don't feel like sharing that with you. Believe me, you don't wanna know! haha, samin lang un nina dong and sot.

I decided to sleep over at Miko's place 'coz i wanted to watch their tournament the following day. The Mesuca tourney was held in Makati at the Powersmash court. We were in a rush just 'coz Miko woke up pretty late. So ayun, di na nag warm up, laro kagad. Not surprisingly, they lost their first game. Belat.

Later that night we went to the bazaar at Times, BF resort.

Anyone who lives near that place, please visit my friend's changge, they're
selling crab nuggets, fishball, and bbq :)

We went home pretty late na, kaya i sleptover once again at miko's house. I badly wanted to attend church the next morning. Sadly though, my alarm didn't went off, i woke up at 10 am. I went home expecting Kuya Lee soaping me. (sasabunin ba. sa sermon). Mom called after a few minutes. She was talking to Lee...

Lee: "pinapasabi ni mama matulog ka na lang sa kalye."

I laughed.

Last night we decided to hang out at MOA. We boought Christmas tree decorations na rin although kunti pa lang, we wanted to try out green, red, and blue-white balls (will be posting a picture of it to ask for your opinion) and if it would look good together on the tree.

Mahal pala, 3 flowers and 12 balls cost us 600 pesos kagad. *sob*.

Prior to watching a movie, we ate dessert muna. We were craving for something fairly sweet and munchy on the outside with a creamy filling.

Lee and Ban: "Egg tarts!"

We wanna thank Andrea for introducing egg tarts to us, if it weren't for
you we wouldn't have tasted heaven during our early 20's!

A box of 4 was enough for the 2 of us, they were served fresh from the oven kaya we were having a hard time eating it, we even had burned tongues for eating it too fast. We have to kasi, 5 minutes na lang that time before the movie starts.

Beowolf. It was awesome, the whole movie was rendered in 3D. I saw the trailer in youtube and i thought the character were real. Last night sa movie house ko lang narealize pati sina Angelina 3D din! It was unbelievable how they created amazing details on Beowolf's skin; every strand of hair looks real. The whole movie felt real, even the monsters. Why, even Angelina's boobs felt real! they were bouncing at one scene! Apparently though, her body was rendered a li'l bit far off. She never had a voluptuous body like that, she even looks skinny today. So yeah, you'll like the movie if your a fan of 3d animation and fantasy.

Enjoy the best of electronica!

I'm honestly enjoying these underground electronic genre. Im enjoying britney if you wanna put it that way. Nevertheless, they're still considered pop. But you could feel the influence of the underground beat. Its hot :) Im usually playing this playlist, some of the hot songs in her album Blackout.

Our first Christmas dilemma.

We decided to put up the Christmas tree last night. My aunt & I assembled the 2 poles then started putting the leaves on it. Although the leaves were different in sizes, you wouldn't really get confused where to put it 'coz its color coded so there wasn't much thinking to do.

Or is there...

At one point though, we realized the tree didn't look like a Christmas tree at all. I made a smirk when i saw the tree looking kind of bizarre. We didn't realize we we're putting the wrong leaves at the wrong places. The tree looked like it had some sort of genetic defect. Aunt and I were pretty sure we followed everything the instructions said. I really got pissed off from thinking about it so i called Lee. Yeah, the instructions were wrong.

*pfft*.
Mali yung instructions? heh? oxymoron?? haha!

We kind of gotten the poles mixed up 'coz the freakin' instructions were giving out wrong positions. So we had to take out the leaves, disassembled the poles & assemble it again in the right places.

So ayan, ang laki pala. lolz. Its 8 ft tall, parang di kasya sa bahay. Mom kept calling for the past weeks and she really wanted us to buy a tree, 8 ft tall tlga. She didn't know how wide it is.

On a serious note though, ano bang magandang motif para sa Christmas tree?

My reg form is making me sick. bleh.

*egad*

Classes started last Wednesday & I'm still working on my class schedules.

Everything just got worst this afternoon when I finally talked to Sir Pareja about some subjects I had to clarify. Everything went well with that part; He promised me that he would credit all the subjects that I'm taking up with the Education class because if he didn't, that would mean no diploma for me this coming March & hello La Salle - yet again - next semester. So there you go, permission granted. yey.

On the other hand though,,,, He still wanted us - including Mr. Aldrich Poblete my beloved thesis partner, to enroll Biol191 which is our thesis writing....*SOB* the thing is, we have to take 4 units of it which is not offered this semester. Fortunately (I'm not sure why i consider it fortunate), someone is taking it up for tutorial. So we could go take it up with him or her. Then again,,, I will be having the worst days this semester & I'm not sure where to fit it in my schedule.

You see, I'm taking up 7 subjects only. But most of them are 3 hours long which could take up most of the time in one day, most of my subjects actually have laboratories so don't wonder. Sadly, I won't be having a break 'coz one class starts right after the other.
Monday: 7-1730
Tuesday/Thursday: 1130-1730
Wednesday 1300-1730
Friday:7-10 & 16-1900. bummer.
This is unbelievable, on Friday my first class starts at 7 and ends at 10, then my 2nd class resumes at 4pm until 7 pm. *toooooot* !!!!
All I could do right now is look at the brighter side of life. .... . ...

I'm graduating next March and there is only 4 months to go. 4
freakin' months 'till I finish college!

I'm going to graduate this course no matter how long it takes!

Law of attraction Leeo, be optimistic about it & you'll get there.

A fashionable blog malfunction

I thought of getting rid of Mike the blogger monkey. It was being too stubborn lately. Heck, he couldn't even stand for second to see me blogging. All those rants must've harm the poor It psychologically.

Anyway, I saw this cool template when i was browsing around the web & now I'm actually using it....or so it seems not. My site is experiencing some sort of error, it can't read the xml type of template i just posted last night. Up until now it doesn't show my page. I wonder why.

Did you ever had a beyonce experience where you just couldn't help but sing & shout?

*ringa ringa ringa ringa ring di alarm, ringa ringa ringa ringa ring di
alarm*

That reggae song, murder she wrote that beyonce sang last night at her
concert is still ringing in my mind. oh, speaking of which. I went to her concert with my Jeddah friends :) Carlo, Anne, Lau, Neng & I met at moa first and ate supper before heading to Taguig. We arrived around 7pm & we thought we were already late. Nagtext na kasi si beyonce kay carlo:

....wer na u? andito na akechi - beyonce

Hahahaha! So ayun, everyone was experiencing a li'l bit of traffic at the parking area, i guess drivers were a lil jigiddy that time anxious that they might miss the opening number. Fortunately though the concert didn't start 'till 830 pm. Yun nga lang, our feet already hurt even before beyonce started the show with crazy inlove. So un, we were walking our way looking for the general admission area. We passed by vip na,,ssvip,,,patron a,,,patron b,,,,after 48 years nakarating na kami ng general ad! kabilang dulo pala ng Taguig! haha! Then it happened,,,, that morning i was a li'l worried they might not allow video cameras inside the open area. I asked carlo naman & he was pretty sure only SLR cameras or those professional models were not allowed inside. Sadly, even simple video cams were prohibited. So Lau was kind enought to accompany me all the way back to the parking area which was like 5 minutes away just by walking so it was pretty exhausting going back and forth just to drop off a video cam. So yun, we all settled down around 730pm in a place where we could atleast get a glimpse of the stage and the ant version of beyonce....It was already 8 pm and the big screens were still flashing advertisements and no sign of Miss B. I don't know what was going on backstage but the concert was one hour and a half late. It started at 830pm when she appeared from the right side wearing her silver gown. Then we were absolutely sure the concert was about to start when she shouted,

Are you ready to be entertained?

Everyone just shouted apparently excited to see her perform live. It was unbelievable, it was my first time to actually attend a concert of an international artist so it was pretty overwhelming.

The stage was awesome, the whole wall was filled with LED lights so it appeared to be like a big IMAX screen behind her.

Everyone was singing songs which was a huge hit here in Manila like Listen and Irreplaceable but other than that, only beyonce fans were able to sing other songs from her 2 solo albums like me myself and I, Upgrade U, Dangerously inlove, freakum dress. She also sang some of the hits she shared with Destinys Child, like the decade old No no no no & other hits from the album Writings on the wall. The beyonce experience ended with her huge hit from her latest album, Irreplaceable. Everyone was singing in unison, i guess yung iba un lang tlga pinunta. hehe. Actually Beyonce wanted the audience to sing it first thats why she pointed the mic towards us during the famous to the left to the left part. It was fun singing it with other people you don't know.

Anyway, I could say that it is by far the best concert i've been to. And by far, it is the ONLY concert i've ever been to. haha! I loved the concert, the whole beyonce experience was amazing, she did made sure that every ticket we bought was worth it. Everyone had a blast, it actually felt bitin, we didn't expect that 2 hours was a lil short .

Tama si anne, kung alam lang namin gnun kaganda yung show, we would've taken vip tickets. Frankly nanghinayang kaming lahat. The beyonce experience will be out in DVDs anyway.

Meet mike.

Iiight, from this day forward, I'ma spice up my blog a li'l bit, I'ma go adopt my own blog buddy. Since I have no one to talk to and no one seems curious enough to read my blog, I might as well pretend I'm blogging with someone...errr.. something for that matter.

From now on, I'm going to be blogging with Mike, my blog monkey! Off limits to readers, he's a lil stubborn, apparently. Mind you, he doesn't like being glared at. Surprisingly, we have alot in common (no, not physically dammit!). We're stubborn, we hang around alot (xD), and we play badminton! And if there's one thing we love giving glares to, its those boot-ehs frem ye sexy mamahs.

I'm sure Mike wouldn't mind listening to all my rants and constant nagging. Right Mike??? ...................ooooOOooK!

So anyway....blah. I'ma update this in a while. Lemme get back to my game. Heihachi's calling me!
